Congratulations to our May student of the month!

Congrats to our May student of the month, Antonio! 🎉

Today is midterm for 4th quarter.

Mrs. Fournie's classes started their ABC countdown to Summer this week. We were arborists and planted seeds for letter A 🌻 We had a balloon play day in the gym for letter B 🎈We played outside with chalk and had chocolate milk🧋at snack for letter C. Today was D day, so we kept the room dark and used glow sticks to see what we were doing. 🌃

We are asking all staff and students to wear their Belonging Begins With Belleville shirts tomorrow.

Today is Administrative Professionals Day! Thank you Gina for everything you do at Washington School!

Spring Break begins tomorrow. There is no school from Thursday, April 17th through Monday, April 21st. Classes resume on Tuesday, April 22nd. Have a swell break!

Mrs. Wilson's classes had so much fun hunting for Easter eggs today! 🧺🥚

There is no school on Wednesday, April 16 for PreK screenings. Classes will resume on Tuesday, April 22nd.

Happy Spring from these cute bunnies in Ms. Coca's class 🐰

FREE Mobile Market is the 3rd Thursday of each month.

Ms. Coca's class had fun learning about weather and pretending to be meteorologists.

Mrs. Fournie's classes finished our 2 week weather unit by listening to the story I Can Eat a Rainbow and having rainbow fruit salad. ☀️⛈️🌦️🌈🌪️

Thanks to all of our paraprofessionals for all you do for our Washington staff and students every day! We are so lucky to have you! 💜

There is no school on Tuesday, April 1st (elections). Enjoy some yummy pizza at Bennie's in Belleville on Tuesday, April 1st to help raise money for Henry Raab & Washington Schools!

To help with our bussing service at student arrival and dismissal, it might help expedite your commute by utilizing East Monroe Street to access Abend rather than East Garfield. This may help alleviate traffic congestion and unwanted wait time for buses to depart. We appreciate your patience to help keep our students safe.

We are asking all staff and students to wear their Belonging Begins With Belleville shirts tomorrow.

Today is National Scribble Day! 🎨
Mrs. Fournie's classes celebrated by listening to the story - A Little Spot Celebrates Scribble Day, listening to the song, making our own scribble spot people and taking our own scribble books home to read with our families!

Tomorrow (March 27th) is the Cards home opener. Wear red or Cardinal gear to school (hats are acceptable).

This is a friendly reminder that our annual Food Drive ends tomorrow. Thank you again for your support in making this Food Drive a success!
