Our Douglas Girls on the Run participants and coaches ran a Practice 5K (3.1 miles) today. The girls did an amazing job! They were determined, had a positive attitude, and cheered one another on throughout the run. A huge β€œThanks” to HarleyQuinn and her Mom for mapping out the route, writing encouraging words along the route and setting up a water station. Also, thank you Latchkey for cheering us on at the finish line. 🐯

Our Douglas Tigers were true super heroes last week as they took on the role of "Mouth Guards" and helped Captain Super Grin of the Land of Smiles defeat Caz Cavity!πŸ¦Έβ€β™‚οΈπŸ¦·πŸͺ₯ What better time to learn about taking care of our teeth than right before Halloween... one of Caz Cavity's favorite holidays full of cavity-causing candy!πŸ€ͺπŸŽƒπŸ‘»πŸ«πŸ¬πŸ Keep up the great work, Douglas Mouth Guards, and don't forget to brush twice a day, floss, and use mouthwash! Thank you Delta Dental, for taking us on a "tooth-riffic" adventure!!!πŸ’š @DeltaDentalIL
