In honor of Black History Month, our Douglas School 5th grade students hosted an interactive wax museum for our students and staff. Each presentation focused on an influential member of the black community, and was very well researched and presented. Douglas Elementary School Retake Picture Day is coming up on Monday, November 17, 2025
If you're satisfied with your child's picture, no further action is required.
If you purchased and were unhappy with your Picture Package, please send your Picture Package to school with your student on Retake Day. Your Retake Picture Package will be produced and shipped to the school four weeks after Retake Day. Please note, if your child is photographed on the original and Retake Picture Days, the Retake picture will replace the original picture in certain products, like the yearbook.
Students who were absent for Picture Day should come to school prepared to have their picture taken. If you have not preordered, please use the Retake Order Code 0101QPF to place your order at https://inter-state.com/Order. To see your Order History, check your Inter-State Account.

The City of Belleville invites neighbors to help neighbors via The Great Big GIVE, a City-led food & supply drive for the Community Interfaith Food Pantry. Donations are accepted now through November 14th at the Belleville Public Library, Main Branch, at 121 E. Washington Street during operating hours.
The Community Interfaith Food Pantry is a nonprofit charitable organization formed by eleven local faith communities in cooperation to better serve the community as a whole. They provide food to families throughout Belleville, Scott AFB and Swansea communities who are experiencing difficulty in meeting the demands of daily living. Located at 1218 W. Main Street in Belleville, they are ready to serve families in need.
