Due to the forecast of significant winter weather Friday morning, there will be no school for District 118 on Friday, January 10, 2025.
Due to extremely cold temperatures, icy conditions at bus stops and schools, and difficulty navigating bus routes, there will be no school tomorrow, Wednesday, January 8, 2025.
Due to current road conditions within our school district and to help ensure the safety of our students and staff, there will be no school for District #118 on Tuesday, January 7th.

West Jr. High is still seeking passionate and dedicated Bowling Coach candidates to lead our junior high bowling team during the upcoming season. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to mentor young athletes, build team camaraderie, and foster a love for the sport.
Position Details
Season Duration: Early January to Mid-March
Compensation: Paid stipend
Location: Bel Air Bowl & St. Clair Bowl
Qualifications:
Prior experience in bowling, coaching, or a related field is preferred.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Availability during the season for 4:00 pm practices and matches
