It's almost time to sign up for the Belleville Public Library's Summer Reading Program!
Our Kindergarten classes were able to visit our 1st grade teachers earlier this week! They were so excited to get a sneak peak at the life of a 1st grader and meet their future teacher. They are ready for next year!
Our Jaguars in 3rd grade had a blast on their field trip at Camp Wartburg! They went canoeing, tried archery, and participated in a pond study. Special thank you to the Belleville 118 Foundation!
Congratulations to Gabriel, Averie, Kamiah, Veronica, Kaid, and Eli for their outstanding character! They were recognized at the District 118 Board of Education meeting and were celebrated for being students of the month throughout the year! Way to go Jaguars!

Our Jaguars in 4th grade had a wonderful time on their field trip to Springfield! One of their many exciting stops was in front of Abraham Lincoln's home!
Our Jefferson Families had a wonderful time last week at Spring Fling! It was a night filled with fun, games, treats, and prizes! Thank you to the Jefferson Teachers & Community Club for hosting such a wonderful evening!
Jefferson Staff are enjoying Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week with the theme “Through the Decades!” They started the week in a 1950’s diner and soda shop making their own milkshakes, root beer floats, and sodas in The Den. Thank you so much to the Jefferson Teachers and Community Club for celebrating our staff!
2023 Summer Reading Program at the Belleville Public Library
4th grade wrote persuasive essays to persuade readers to eat at their favorite restaurants and then mailed the essays to the restaurants. Sophea's essay was so persuasive that China King reached back out to her with a letter of appreciation and a gift card so that she can order her favorite chicken fried rice! Way to go Sophea and thank you China King!

What a tremendous performance by the Belleville District 118 Jazz Ensemble as they visited Jefferson for the Junior High Concert Band Tour! Our Jaguars had a great time clapping and dancing along with the music!
