Attention 6th grade students and families! Tryouts for the West Jr High Baseball, Softball, and Cross Country Teams will be held next week!
Incoming 6th grade students are once again permitted to try out. Below are the tryout dates and times:
West Jr High Baseball - July 29th and 30th 4:00-6:00pm
Softball - July 29th and 30th 4:00-6:00pm
Cross Country - August 7th and 8th 9:00-10:00am
Please be reminded that each student must have a current physical on file with your attending school before participating in the tryout. No student will be permitted to try out without a current physical. You may bring an updated copy of the physical to the tryout dates.
It is also highly recommended to attend both days of tryouts.

Jefferson Elementary School is looking for supervisors for the upcoming 2024 - 2025 school year!

Candidates will be contacted near the end of summer, prior to the start of the 2024 - 2025 school year in August.
Supervisor Description:
- Work at our school to help supervise students before the school day starts, during breakfast, recesses, lunch, and dismissal.
- Assist throughout the school day with tasks to support our classrooms and school.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Hourly rate for the 2023 - 2024 school year was $14.50 an hour.

1st grade had an ice cream social to celebrate a successful year together!
At our end of year celebration, the Jaguar Jamboree, our students had a great time together with outdoor activities, a picnic lunch, and many had the chance to pie the principal!
