This week's "Feel Good Friday" is a celebration of National Literacy Day. We know it's so important for our All Stars to read, write, and think critically. Thank you to members of the Belleville-O’Fallon (IL) Alumni Chapter Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. for sharing a book with us today💙. The students enjoyed the stories, asked lots of questions, and we appreciate the time and discussion. We are better together! 📚📝🌟

Have you asked your All Star how their quarter has started off? We are seeing some major successes, and we are very hopeful for the 3rd quarter results our students will have!

This is a reminder that there will be no school on Monday, January 20, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Let's all be of service to and support for one another as we continue to move forward!

This week's "Feel Good Friday" is a shoutout to our All Stars returning to their routine! This week was a great ending to a quarter and beginning of a new one! Our All Stars are ready for the next big challenge of focusing and preparing for the next grade level! Keep shining bright All Stars!🌟

Our All Stars are not only shining bright with our return to school expectations, they are EXCELLING in returning to their academics! We are so excited about what they will do next quarter!

Due to the forecast of significant winter weather Friday morning, there will be no school for District 118 on Friday, January 10, 2025.

We are thrilled to highlight our December All-Stars of the Month, who have been shining examples of kindness and empathy in our school community! These incredible students go above and beyond to make their classmates feel valued, supported and heard. Whether it’s lending a helping hand, offering a kind word, or showing compassion for someone in need, they embody the true spirit of empathy.
We are so proud of how these students inspire others with their thoughtful actions, and we encourage everyone to follow their example of empathy in and out of the classroom. Great job All-Stars!🌟

Due to extremely cold temperatures, icy conditions at bus stops and schools, and difficulty navigating bus routes, there will be no school tomorrow, Wednesday, January 8, 2025.

Due to current road conditions within our school district and to help ensure the safety of our students and staff, there will be no school for District #118 on Tuesday, January 7th.

We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday All Stars!🌟
Stay safe and warm!

We look forward to seeing all the success 2025 will bring for our All Stars! 🌟📚
