We are back in action and thanks to Mr. Essenpreis our All Stars got to enjoy the basketball inflatable during PE! They had so much fun! Let's continue our great start to the week All Stars!🌟

Due to the forecast of significant winter weather Friday morning, there will be no school for District 118 on Friday, January 10, 2025.

We are thrilled to highlight our December All-Stars of the Month, who have been shining examples of kindness and empathy in our school community! These incredible students go above and beyond to make their classmates feel valued, supported and heard. Whether it’s lending a helping hand, offering a kind word, or showing compassion for someone in need, they embody the true spirit of empathy.
We are so proud of how these students inspire others with their thoughtful actions, and we encourage everyone to follow their example of empathy in and out of the classroom. Great job All-Stars!🌟

Due to extremely cold temperatures, icy conditions at bus stops and schools, and difficulty navigating bus routes, there will be no school tomorrow, Wednesday, January 8, 2025.

Due to current road conditions within our school district and to help ensure the safety of our students and staff, there will be no school for District #118 on Tuesday, January 7th.

We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday All Stars!🌟
Stay safe and warm!

We look forward to seeing all the success 2025 will bring for our All Stars! 🌟📚

Are you going to be Team Santa or Team Grinch? Wear red or green to show whose team you are on! Tomorrow we are collecting shampoos, soaps, or deodorants. Thank you for helping us help others!

This week's Feel Good Friday is a shoutout to our All Star Supervisor Team who works to continue to keep our All Stars safe, growing (not all pictured).

Some of our 2nd graders got some "Kudos" in Art today for their hard work, and Ms. Eckert's class talked about the power of words and how we can't take them back once they are out. Our All Stars keep growing in so many ways!

Our students throughout the school are talking about empathy during the holiday season and using the story of The Grinch to discuss ways to show empathy. Many of the students on our positive behavior referral wall showed empathy. The great news is we have over 100 referrals before our break! The new goal is to see how many we can get!!! Way to go All Stars!!! 😄
