Some of our 2nd graders got some "Kudos" in Art today for their hard work, and Ms. Eckert's class talked about the power of words and how we can't take them back once they are out. Our All Stars keep growing in so many ways!
Our students throughout the school are talking about empathy during the holiday season and using the story of The Grinch to discuss ways to show empathy. Many of the students on our positive behavior referral wall showed empathy. The great news is we have over 100 referrals before our break! The new goal is to see how many we can get!!! Way to go All Stars!!! 😄
This week's Feel Good Friday goes out to our November All Stars of the Month. These students exemplify the word Peace. They live in harmony with their classmates and are kind to others. Thank you, All Stars, for showing our school community how to shine bright in PEACE. 🌟❤️🌟

We want to shoutout Kion for his recognition at this month's "Do The Right Thing" ceremony. We are very proud of his growth! Congratulations to the other District 118 students as well. Keep shining bright!⭐️
This week's "Feel Good Friday" is a shoutout to our All Stars who are challenged to have 100 Positive Office Referrals! Our goal is by Holiday Break, and we are well on our way. Students who are caught being awesome come to the office, get their picture taken, and it hangs on the wall for everyone to celebrate. Every 10 positive referrals we pull some numbers out and the number with the picture on it gets a prize like lunch with principal, extra recess, lunch with friends! So help us celebrate our All Stars who are shining bright! Keep it up everyone!
