Last night was a truly inspiring evening as we honored our District 118 Young Author award winners, and the room was filled with creativity and pride. We were incredibly fortunate to have New York Times best-selling author John Schu speak to our students, reminding us all of the life-changing power of reading for joy. His message to our students was clear: Be capacious! Thank you to the families, teachers, and especially our talented student authors for making last night so special. Keep writing your stories!
