The mission of Franklin School is to build a school culture based on the concept that the students, faculty, support staff, parents, and community neighbors are a family whose unifying purpose is to create a circle of love and respect that includes every person and serves to accelerate that individual’s learning. Within this family circle, the children, through the nurturing efforts of a network of caring adults, will experience a strong sense of belonging, will have their needs for mastery met, will develop independence as they participate in decision making that will determine their future, and will learn how to take their places as generous and unselfish care givers of others.
