Roosevelt School receives a $100,000 grant from Target
From November 2011 through January 2012, viewers of the Ellen DeGeneres Show could submit stories about why their school needed help from Target. That is exactly what Roosevelt parent and volunteer, Tanya McGrew did. On January 25, 2012 Roosevelt School received a letter stating they were one of fifty schools across the country to receive a $100,000 grant from Target. Principal Craig Hayes and his staff have setup a process where students, parents, and staff can provide input as to how the money might be utilized to best enhance the educational opportunities for the students at Roosevelt School. Thank you Target and Ellen!
